Bridal party games can be a total hit or miss. The first step in creating a bridal party game hit is to make sure you have an honest idea of the crowd you will have. If it is a crowd that might not know each other too well, avoid group games and focus more on the games that can be done off to the side. If the crowd has all been friends for years and year, look to add more competitive fun bridal party games to get that bridal party game hit! Keep reading for bridal party games that aren't lame!
First-time reader? Welcome! We are a wedding planning company and specialize in Day of Wedding Planning and Month of Wedding Coordination in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC areas. O'Neil's blog is the best place to become and stay educated about the wedding planning process. We post about wedding budget percentages, addressing wedding invitations, room blocks for weddings (how we can help for free), and your day of wedding timeline. We offer many free downloads such as the ultimate wedding timeline template, wedding invitation timeline, and wedding budgeting. We teach you how to plan your wedding as we specialize as your day of wedding planner. Learn more about us here.
I can not start talking about a bridal party without first talking about the invitation. The invitation is the gateway and the start of the big event so take the time to make sure your invitation is conveying the right message! Make sure you are including all of the important information, such as where the couple is registered since this is the one and only way guest will be receiving the details (there is not bridal party website the host can fall back on, sadly). Here are a few invitations we are loving right now:

Onto the games!
HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW THE BRIDE?
This is fun especially if it's a mixed crowd. Even her close friends and family might learn a bit about the bride to be! It is an easy game for everyone to participate.
What's in your purse?
This is a great and simple game to be played. It is an easy icebreaker into the games and it can be done on your own or at your own speed. It is simply a print out of different purse items that are each awarded points. You look at what you have in your purse and start adding up how many points you have. The winner is, of course, the person with the most points.
Now, this is for the crowd that likes to party! The rules are simple and you can even make house rules. The picture below does a good job of explaining the game.
Bridal Party Scavenger Hunt
For those who are really willing to take a risk and go all out, nothing beats a scavenger hunt! There are so many great (and free) printables on Pinterest to pick from and you can even customize them yourselves. Getting this set up does take some creativity, but the pay off is worth it!
Have fun with the props too! All you need is a cute backdrop, and you have an instant photo booth!
Any don't forget to have a few prizes for the winners!
